Dairy Operators

Laboratory Technicians

The Position
We are seeking applicants to join our Laboratory team as Laboratory Technicians. The facility operates 7 days a week, with 12 and 8 hour shift arrangement for both day and night shift so we are seeking applicants who are available for a range of shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Chemical, physical and microbiological analysis of milk and inline samples.
- Environmental sampling.
- QC production support.
- Calibration of lab equipment.
Requirements of the positions
- Relevant Food Industry experience including HACCP knowledge.

Quality Controller
Geelong, VIC, Australia
The Position
Support day‑to‑day quality, food safety and compliance activities across the site. Be a key contact for quality queries and documentation to help ensure our raw materials, products and suppliers meet Kyvalley’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate raw material non‑conformances and customer complaint intake and follow‑up
- Manage supplier compliance and approvals
- Maintain product/raw material specifications and MSDS/SDS records
- Support Food Safety Plan programs and routine compliance tasks
- Contribute to systems upkeep, investigations and continuous improvement
Requirements of the positions
- Degree in Food Science or a related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in food manufacturing
- Solid understanding of quality systems (e.g. HACCP), specifications, MSDS/SDS and food safety programs
- Proactive, detail‑driven and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
HSES Manager – Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability
Kyabram & Geelong, VIC, Australia
The Position
Lead the design, coordination and delivery of HSES systems, initiatives and programs across Kyvalley’s integrated operations—farms, fresh milk processing facilities and corporate teams. Drive a safety‑first culture, lift organisational capability and help safeguard our people, animals, consumers and the environment. Regular travel between Kyabram and Geelong is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the HSES strategy and programs across multiple sites
- Champion cultural uplift and continuous improvement in safety and wellbeing
- Coordinate HSES systems, standards, training and compliance activities
- Partner with senior leaders and site teams to embed best‑practice ways of working
- Support investigation, risk management and preventative actions across operations
- Contribute to environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives
